The Projects aims to conduct evidence-based researches and develop effective support strategies concurrently through mutual engagement and in-depth collaborations with partnership schools on developing school-based Chinese language curriculum for teaching and learning of NCS students; to investigate the effectiveness of different support strategies in developing school-based Chinese language curriculum; to investigate how these support strategies can be adopted effectively with reference to the Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language learning framework; to build up teachers’ capacity in employing effective pedagogies in teaching Chinese for NCS students.
