Research Assistant I/II in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education(Ref.: 201800995) (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Chinese Language, Chinese History, Social Science, or Education. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; be familiar with statistical analysis and MS Office application (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.); and good interpersonal and organizational skills. They should also be an energetic team member with initiative and enthusiasm to provide quality research support service to project investigators and other stakeholders.
The appointee will work for the projects on Chinese Language (as first or second language) education and research. He/She will review literature, conduct data collection, analyze research data, prepare research reports and other resources, assist in resource publication, provide secretarial and research support to the project, and perform other duties as assigned.
