The Project aims at developing pre-primary Chinese Language learning progression framework (LPF) to foster Non-Chinese Speaking students’ learning of the Chinese language and cater for their learning diversity; developing an application software of LPF to facilitate assessment for learning; disseminate the outcomes and transfer the knowledge to local kindergarten teachers.

To disseminate the good practices derived from this QEF project and promote professional sharing through networking different schools and educational bodies, this Project has been invited to host 3-year Quality Education Fund (QEF) Thematic Network on Utilising “Chinese Language Learning Progression Framework for Non-Chinese Speaking Children in Kindergartens in Hong Kong” for Effective Chinese Learning in 2017/18, 2018/19及2019/20 School Years.
