This one-year project aims to 1) develop systematic teaching materials and assessment criteria for learning Chinese Culture through studying complex text; 2) help students to grasp the positive values as well as schematic structure of Chinese culture; 3) develop effective and evidence-based the teaching materials and assessment criteria with reference to the learning Chinese culture and Chinese reading strategy; 4) empower Chinese language teachers so that they could help their students to grasp the positive values as well as schematic structure of Chinese culture effectively.
