About the Speaker:
Ms. Annie Chan specialises in the discipline of Science and Chemistry education. As a member of the PISA 2025 Hong Kong Project Team, she assists with the review of adaptations and translation of research instruments and Science coder training. Ms. Chan has conducted educational projects on promoting the use of educational technology in learning and teaching in Science (S1–S3); and the use of multiple representations in teaching and learning of chemistry. She is active in professional community services, and has served as a member of the CDC-HKEAA Committee on Chemistry, The Education Bureau; and a member of the HKEAA Subject Committee on Integrated Science, HKEAA, The Government of Hong Kong SAR. Ms. Chan is a fellow of The Higher Education Academy.

- Background of Science assessment in PISA
- Analysis of PISA results
- Discussion on how the results inform the review of school policy and teaching and prepare for the comparison with PISA 2025
