The Project “Empowerment and Transition – Supporting Teachers to Promote Multicultural Students’ Chinese Learning in Primary and Secondary Schools” (E&T Project for short), under the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER), Faculty of Education, HKU, provides school-based support and teacher professional development for Chinese teachers teaching CALD students. In the past three years, we have supported over 250 teachers in over 30 local primary and secondary schools.
E&T project is organising this seminar to disseminate the knowledge and good practices generated in this project year. Participating schools will share their experiences and practices, while experts from the Faculty will deliver speech and answer questions related to CALD Chinese teaching. The details for the Secondary School Seminar are as follows:
