
Regarding the Group Entry Permits for Mainland scholars attending the conference, despite repeated and active communication between the Organizer and immigration authorities, we regret to inform you that the applications were ultimately not approved. This has resulted in some overseas presenters being unable to travel to Taiwan in person, for which the Organizer deeply regret.
To ensure the Conference proceeds smoothly, for presenters unable to travel to Taiwan due to the aforementioned issue, the Organizer will provide an online presentation option. The arrangements are as follows:

- Abstracts (including title and keywords) should be written in English or Chinese within 600 words. The title, name of the presenter, and presenter’s affiliation must be provided in both English and Chinese. If it is written in other language(s), please also submit a version in English or Chinese.
- The abstract should summarize the purpose of the study, methods, major findings with evidence/examples. Please submit the abstract through our online system for review by the submission deadline. Online system URL: https://top.ntnu.edu.tw/icher-15/https://top.ntnu.edu.tw/icher-15/
- The review result of abstract proposals will be notified to the participants via email and announced on the conference website.
* Due to the review process taking longer than expected, the results will be announced on 25 September 2025 (Thursday). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
* The Conference will establish two awards, "Outstanding Paper Award for Postgraduate Student" (the contributors are postgraduate students) and "Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scholar" (the contributors are Associate Professors or below), in the two major areas - "Teaching and learning of Han-Character / Chinese Language" and "Research on Han-Character / Chinese Language". Participants (First authors) are required to submit full papers to online submission platform before the deadline.
* Accepted presenters may submit full papers via online system by November 30, 2025 and they will be included in the Conference Proceedings. Please observe the Full Paper Submission Guideline to prepare your paper (No. of words: 6,000 - 8,000). Please note that the submission of full paper is not a mandatory requirement. All submitted papers should be original and should not have been previously published in any form. The first author and title of the full paper should be the same as the accepted abstract.
* The abstracts will be published in CNKI(中國知網). Presenters who don't want to publish should indicate on your online registration form.
