The sharing and variations of Han Character is a unique feature among a number of Asian languages. Korean learns Hanja, Japanese learns Kanji, Chinese in Mainland China and Singapore learns simplified Hanzi while Chinese in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan learns traditional Hanzi. This Conference aims to bring together scholars, researchers and practitioners from different Asian countries to foster international knowledge exchanges and research collaborations on Han characters education and research. Building upon accomplishments and successes in the last ten conferences, the 11th conference will be held in South Korea in early of May 2022 and it will be hosted by Institute for Han-Character Education Research in Dankook University.

Conference Venue: Dankook University Jukjeon Campus, Republic of Korea
